*A woman's voice in the distance* "Subject three-zero-three-six-four-eight"

"Medical scan analysis complete. Subject 303648 has a blood alcohol content of 0.04%."

Aura? - It sounded like her..

"Trace amounts of illegal boosters are detected. Initiating detoxification." Yep. It was Aura.

"Other vital signs - within normal parameters."

I was no longer in hydrostasis. When did I start breathing? I struggled to move my eyelids. The lights, are so far away. Massive headache. I can move my jaw. ugh.. nnnngh... it was like my own teeth didn't fit in my mouth. What a hard hydrostatic nap.

*Schoompf* The door flings open.

I fell out of the chamber and collapsed onto the floor. I can sort of feel my legs now.. My arms.. Just barely, horrid circulation. Was I dead? I haven't used this clone in a long time. And I was so cold.

This sucks.

Aura: "Disorientation will subside momentarily. Please stay inside the white line." Just as she said that I can see well enough to notice the white box that was marked on the floor.

Suddenly my vision was alright. It must be those +5 implants.. those stupid things cost so much. They won't make you a sudden chess prodigy or anything but something is definitely going on upstairs.. in my head.

Inhaling deeply, headache going away, I can feel my heartbeat, I can see. I noticed the bright, screen hanging off the side of my vat. On screen it read:

What the fuck?! I've been out that long?

I needed to get up. I carefully got up, using the wall to help me stand, just incase.. but I was already better from the stasis. Sometimes it takes a while to fully come-to after being in there a long time. I walked over to the balcony and stepped out for some air.

A sudden rush, the deafening noise of trillions. The heartbeat of New Eden.

Jita 4-4.

It smells like feces and fast food. And thruster exhaust. Tickers and local chat-shit splattering over every square inch of space. Easy ways to double your ISK or contracts containing fitted Gneiss.'

*Brink shakes his head* "...high sec."

I need a cigarette.

I checked my chat channels - Alliance.

What the fuck?!

Neo-Bushido Movement; [8TRON]

I've been gone too long already. I caught up with Peach Pride, Miura Bull, Nuke Cave and Lhorenzo. Was nice to see them again.

Hopefully SKRMR stays the same. I still want a legit shot at that SKRMR world championship. Imagine my name on the cup with those other legends?!

Unfortunately, Real Life has me sidelined; but soon enough I won't have any more excuses. I'll have nothing but time. Out in the lowest of lowsec, killing.. malice intended. It's not gonna be easy, with the second coming of Crake, Nuke Cave. Lho, Or Dilum, or Reciprocrat, or the legend himself: Miura Bull.

I dreamed during my time away where I want to buy 36 ships at a time, shipping them to a new place to live everytime. Do I buy 36 of one kind of ship, maybe 4-6 different fits? I dunno, the gears are turnin.'

Also, where's a good place to live? I'm eyein' up Hadozeko. Kinda wanna look at the redspace again. Lantorn would be good too.

I'm not in Jita often so this would be a good time to buy what I need. Giving myself a few days to think about what to buy and where to ship it.

Maybe July 14' will be my month. Is this the month?™

Just inked a year long deal with you, CCP. $130 bucks heading your way in 1 day and 9 hours.

Currently sitting at 61,034,309 SP

Next June I will decide if this is still my (possibly favorite) game.

Obligatory character review NO let's do a character preview.

I read about Frigate Junkies over on the Brutor Bullfighter.

After getting my Riftery V in January, I've been like a lost puppy. "Sure.. Tornado mastery IV looks cool" Then I realized the big ships are too much for me. I'll stay in my class and the light at the end of the tunnel is visible. Gonna knock down the rest of the combat and attack frigs. Fly more than just a Rifter.

I am chasing down what would arguably be the most worthless little piece of flash .. the Mastery V logo. I've got it already for the Wolf, Rifter, Stiletto and Claw. There is nothing I could possibly train to make those better.. unless I was insane, and did applicable riggings to V. But for no reason whatsoever would a guy do that. (Actually I don't know that.. maybe you would)

I want mastery V in every combat and attack frig in the game. As of this writing.. 364 days, 23 hours, 22 minutes and 9 seconds remain. There is a remap in there too. Somewhere between 19-21 million more SP by next June.

43 skills planned, 32 unique.

I will have Interdictors V, and Electronic Attack Frigates V. (I could probably take EAF off, I don't really have interest in flying those atm.)

Tactical Shield Manipulation V (Your bullets won't hit my armor till my shields are all the way gone.)

+3000 meters drone control range.

Let's not look at the remaining skills list, instead lets look at what they do:

10% to drone damage and mining yield. Also -10% drawbacks for armor, astronautic, shield, launcher, drone, electronic superiority and energy weapons.

5% signature radius in all missile explosions. EM, Explosive, Kinetic and Thermal Shield resistances to shield amplifiers. Less cap need for Turret Destabilizers. Tracking Disruptor tracking speed, optimal range and falloff disruption.

4% to each Radar, Magnetometric, and Gravimetric Sensor Compensations.

2% to all missile explosions, rocket damage, light missile damage, small rails, blasters, pulse and beam lasers. Amarr, Caldari, Gallente, and Minmatar drone damage. Less cap need for shield boosters.

I think eventually I want to have all the frigates and destroyers in the game at mastery V. T1 and T2. Then I have no idea what to do after that.. finally "man" up for cruisers? Train social skills? Biomass? Start my own corp? Perfect trading skills? Drug production? Maybe skill straight from frigates to the Naglfar..

.. that's about it. Only a tiny improvement. I know it's beyond diminishing returns but I wave my D at your big ships. Screw you guys. :D

That is all for now, thanks for reading. o7

I wandered without any real particular destination in mind, went here and there in the Bleak Lands in the southern Minmatar/Amarr faction warzone. The weather was a bit blobby for me. Went up towards Amamake and Bogelek. Realizing how close I am to the Uplingur/Yishinoon island, I paid a visit. Sometimes you can catch a ratter or a miner in the belts. And of course the winds took me towards Molden Heath. Go figure.

Sometimes, I roam to make a video, other times I make a video for a roam.

Kronos is pretty dang nice to look at. New starlight, warp effects, (I love the noise) and .. it's STABLE! Knock on wood.

You don't always get the killmails. But you can still tell a story.

Okay, I've been drinking.....

Brink is drunk.

Got my official SKRMR corporate identification card done. Following the SKRMR uniform code, in dress reds. Go ahead and laugh at my business look; I killed two people wearing that.

I love space barbie. Nora said this shirt doesn't make me look fat so I guess I will wear one for a while. Nice work on the new store CCP.

Stopped in Bosena for some supplies after shooting up that Stabber Fleet Issue; and small talked with CSM Sugar Kyle, Mother of Jaguars.

I also went to that dark corner near the ship hangar for some boosters. That's all for now. Gonna go sit on the couch in captain's quarters and drop some Exile, thanks for reading o7

The Background

I turned 3.

This shitty game. I picked it up and downloaded Eve the same day. You can buy Brink in the throwaway bin for 2 bucks at GameStop.

Hit random 5 times for my surname, 5 times on character creation because my computer at the time could hardly run it..

I didn't expect to still be here!!

*Role play pants on*

Just a delinquent Republic Military School dropout. Never met my parents. Yes I'm blonde.

I couldn't leave Ammold fast enough. I only got as far as one jump. Emogranlan, which was a small mission hub.

My becoming a capsuleer granted me a certain freedom, to roam. I think it's in my genetics; a Vherokir Drifter is the stereotype. But a guy's gotta eat. I learned how to use a salvager module. At first I was begging in Emogranlan and Frarn for salvaging rights. Eventually I learned it was better to simply scan down battleships and just take the stuff that was left behind. I expanded my operation to Dodixie as well. I remember my first trips to Jita.. what a place for a drifting Vherokir salvager. All the ships, markets.. I was blown away.

Petty theft and running salvage was my main source of income, and my life in the early days. Barely a slap on the wrist from CONCORD. It just got me by, I couldn't fly anything nice (bigger) anyway, just watched my wallet grow. Started enjoying the finer Citadel cigars and spiced wines from Molden Heath. The occasional strippers.

Getting recruited almost randomly out of a local chat, into a smaller corporation. I just told him I like to salvage and I guess that was good enough.

I met a corpmate who I won't name. Somehow he saw through my salvaging, he knew I was a thief just by looking at me. So was he. His plan was to loot everything eventually from the corp hangars. I thought it was a great idea myself, I've got no loyalty to these other pilots anyway.

I had a normal.. day to day life in Megiathon Corporation. Then one day I met through my cousin this pirate. We went on a roam and we had caught a Taranis. Podded him too. It was a 3v1 so the poor guy didn't have much a chance.I liked it. Was I supposed to like it?

Normally by adolescence, a Minmatar has gone through the Voluval. This was a major source of teasing during my time in Republic Military School. I needed answers. I couldn't shake how good it felt to kill someone, so I met with a Vherokir shaman. It was time. My Voluval marking changed my face forever. I had a new sense of pride in my tribal heritage. I was a fighter. A murderer. And it was okay! The people in attendance didn't judge me like I thought. A murder but I still had a conscience..

..Someone did steal Megiathon's assets. It wasn't me. Now I know ninja salvaging ain't honest. Or blowing up a ship and podding someone..

I flew with that corp thief a while, all he wanted to do was grief, grief, grief. Started to wonder, and doubt if that's what I wanted myself. these bears couldn't shoot back. They would hide behind station guards and CONCORD. Soon we started our own corporation, Hell's Vigils. We did a lot of extortion, and once and a while some battery and assault. If it was slow I would get in my salvaging Vigil I left back in Frarn or Dodixie, but I was doing less and less of it.. pretty much basing in Jita or wherever our target was.

One fateful day in Arnon, I agreed to a Rifter 1v1 with a black jacket. I'll never forget that rush, my first taste of PVP. But Lowsec is scary, we aren't supposed to go there? This, according to these 'tough' highsec griefers I been flying with.

Got to know a lot of other highsec thugs. I wasn't as interested in getting on their killmails, I'd be the guy looting the field while they shot a guy after can flipping him. The guy I flown with from Megiathon, the corp thief, was cool; until he got around his buddies. He wouldn't treat me very well. Like I was some scrub. In front of his guys he scrammed and webbed my Rifter, neuted it out, then blew it up. To my surprise, he podded me too.

It had all clicked, just then.

I was pissed off. We had this contract to grief some miners from Black Anvil Industries.

I opened a convo with their CEO and made a deal. Half now, half later.

But I had failed to kill his Hurricane with my Rupture. He was able to break my scram and warp off. I only got half of the pay. The carebear was still thankful, and Hell's Vigils was dissolved.

*Brink shakes his head, lighting another cigarette*

"Highsec" Brink said smiling, smoke billowing out of his mouth. "Empire space."

I knew they were afraid of lowsec. I'm a drifter, now on the run. Always had to stay one step ahead of CONCORD, but now I'll never know how ahead I am of the mercenaries and griefers. Who can I trust? I remembered that fight with that guy with the Rifter jacket. He had made some introductions and soon I was a prospect in the Black Rebel Rifter Club. Becoming a Rebel was one of my greatest achievements. Trading my Salvager II for a 200mm Autocannon II was the best thing I ever did. Flew with them for over two and a half years.

I was one of the first guys through their BDFS program. We didn't have that when I first started in R1FTA so I volunteered for a stint.

Bonus to flying with these guys? Molden Heath is populated with lots of Vherokir! For the first time in my life, I felt home. Spiritually and culturally it made sense.

CONCORD never really paid that much attention to my actions in highsec. Before I knew it I was -10 and my standings with every faction are completely shot to Hell. Several counts of murder, theft, extortion.. they don't even know the half of it.

They can't touch me in lowsec or null.

Nowadays I live out of lowsec Essence, but I feel like picking up and moving. I own a small bar. Man I can't stay in one place and I own a little business.. Vherokir stereotypes!!

CONCORD keeps tabs on me, I know I've served undercover Federal Intelligence Officers drinks. I behave when I have to.

I now fly with the Screaming Hayabusa. Still a criminal. It's not always sportscars and women but I am loving life on boosters and booze.
